a ceilidh with dannsa

This is an evening of ceilidh dancing interspersed with pieces performed by Dannsa. We begin with some of the favourites, Gay Gordons, Dashing White Sergeant, Virginia Reel with everyone joining in. We then start our own music, songs, and dance performances, and alternate the evening with more dances by everyone from the Eightsome Reel, and Canadian Barn Dance to Britannia Two Step, Anniversary Two Step, and Circassian Circle.

If you don't know the dance we will remind you. We do the dances you want and are interested in the particular version of a dance in your area. We can also perform all our pieces first followed by a ceilidh dance. The evening is run dependant on what you want and where we are. A Ceilidh with Dannsa begins around 8pm and runs until 10.30pm. (or later as the case may be)

Come along to meet, listen, observe and dance, go home with good tunes lingering in your head and the inspiration that dance can bring. Have a Ceilidh with Dannsa.
